Chemo......What Chemo?!!!!!!

Praise the Lord! We are about 24 hours into our first round of chemotherapy and Tyler is having absolutely no side effects. God is hearing all of our prayers and answering back boldly. Tyler is doing great. He's been eating lots of high calorie foods, reading books, watching movies and of course texting away. This morning, Tyler weighed 45.9 kilograms. Yippeee! We needed to be 45 kilograms in order to not be tied to the hospital for 14 days following chemotherapy, for a series of shots to help boost his immune system. Because we are over 45 kilograms he will only have to get 1 shot on Wednesday. Thank goodness for milkshakes and IV fluids!

The staff here continues to be wonderful. Today, Tyler will continue to receive the doxorubicin and cisplatin. He also has a physical therapy appointment at 2pm. Other than that we are just hanging out and sleeping when we can. Hospital staff have a horrible habit if waking people up every 1-2 hours. I know, I know, there just doing their job. :)

Thanks for praying everyone! Keep it up! It is working!

We love you all!

Charles, Sarah & Tyler
