Tyler remains in the hospital. The doctor's decided not to give Tyler a week off so he was having a chemo treatment today. Since he hasn't been very healthy they are keeping him admitted to keep a close watch on him. Usually when he has methotrexate, it is given as an out patient treatment. He is still recovering from his surgery though so he isn't completely well. He has been up and walking today. He was in a great deal of pain from the surgery, but the pain is under control today. The good news he has only 3 more treatments. You have NO idea how quickly they want these treatments to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today at Christian Academy, the middle school kicked off a fundraiser for St, Jude in honor of Tyler. Mr. Mounce, the assistant principal, laid out the rules to participate. They watched a video that Charles and Tyler made about a day at St. Jude. Students, teachers and even parents are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser. They have the opportunity to raise money by getting pledges to either get their hair cut or shaved. There were 100 packets available and they were gone quickly and there were many requests for more. If you know a CAL student participating in this fundraiser, I know they would appreciate your help in raising money for this wonderful hospital where Tyler has spent a lot of time at for the last 9 months.
I know how much the Hanson family appreciates all your prayers and support. You have been a wonderful team of prayer warriors. Thanks but don't stop because he still needs those prayers. You're the best!!!!!

heyy tyler!! this is soo close to being over and that's amazingg!! it really stinks that still have to be in the hospital though... but i hope you get to leave very soon!! your video was awesome! but made me sad cuz i miss you so much!! and the hair fundraiser deal is gonna be awesome!! and i can't wait! Hey man. Great to see the video in chapel. God's being faithful. All three of us Mr. M's at CAL are going to get our heads shaved by whoever raises the most. That'll be weird! Praying for you.
so Tyler - i guess i'm cutting my hair too... should be interesting. i'm not thinking bald (i've got a weird dent in my head that just wouldn't be pretty to look at), but i'll go short.

Hey Tyler, i am realy bored right now, i'm supposed to be working on my research paper right now but my sister (mar beth) is distracting me. she was laughing at tommy b/c he types reeaalllly slow! thought i would just say hi. tommy is so in to his paper, what a NERD!!!!!

I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw your sweet face on the screen at chapel and it reminded me of how special you are and what an awesome friend you are! I know you've had a rough time these last few months but stay strong, your almost finished! we pray for you daily and pray that you'll have a good day and painless days. I think about you all the time and wish the best for you always :) text me when you feel well it makes my day!
