Counts Low But Feeling Good

Tuesday, August 5

Tyler was disappointed to learn that his counts were dangerously low today. It was a surprise since Tyler has been feeling pretty good these last couple of days. He has been eating more and has gained 2 pounds. His energy level is better and he hasn't been sleeping as much. When his counts are dangerously low, Tyler has to be very careful around people. His immune system is so weak that if he would contract a virus, it could make him very sick. He will return to the hospital on Thursday for more blood work. Please pray for a miraculous turn around. They would really like to come to Louisville this week but it will depend on his counts. If his counts are high enough they will hop in the car and head north to Louisville. If they don't rebound it is best for Tyler to remain close to the hospital. We will be patient, hope and pray for Tyler to come for a visit before school starts. Thanks for your failthfulness. To God be the glory!
Stay Close! kim

I win! It seems like it is a competition to be the first to post a comment, so I win!! It has been fun to read the comments that your friends write each time. You have great friends, Tyler! I must comment though that there are a few (I hate to mention names, but, Chad, Mary Beth, and maybe even Sydney) who might need to come back to 6th grade and take a few more spelling tests!!!!!! Maybe even a few more Shurley grammar pages, too!!!!!! I sure will miss each of you next year!! Enjoy your last few days of summer, Tyler, and everyone else out there. We are all praying for you and your family!!
